It's 2:05 in the morning, and here I am still awake, listening to 74 songs of best club music of 2011. I'm on the 53rd song which is Baby By Me by 50 Cent and Ne-yo. While listening, I remember our audio mobile before, DJVJ audio mobile. Our setup/equipment was just an audio mixer, 2 different belt-drive turntables, audio amplifier and a set of speakers. We don't have any lighting system or console, what we had was colored spotlight and some strobe light. Either we played at a disco party in a club like Bizyo or we were at 357 or Escapade. Sometimes our bass speakers got busted or the audio amplifier got overload and the fuse got busted as well. By the way, DJVJ stands for Don, Jun-jun, Voltaire and Jay. We had big plastic crates where we put the vinyl or records, these records are organized into slow beat and fast or up tempo beat. Our first imported vinyl record was the 12" or extended mix single of Friends by Amy Stewart, we also had Too Many Walls by Cathy Dennis and the transparent vinyl 12" extended version of Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses. Other records were local, bought from any department store. We even used the small vinyl, the 45's. I wonder where are those vinyl or records right now.
Ok, I'm on the 66th song, which is Strictly Private by Jason Lee and feeling sleepy. I hope that my bayantel dsl will be online tomorrow so that Roxas Audio Stream will play again.
