* Using VLC Media Player

One media player working and tested on playing/receiving roxas audio stream was VLC media player. VLC media player should be installed on your computer and you can download the program/application from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/. Here are the steps on how to play/receive  roxas audio stream using VLC media player.

Step1. Open or run vlc media player on you computer.

Step2. Select and click on “Media”.

Step3. Click on “Open Network Stream”.

Step4 . “Open Media” window will pop up, showing the “Network” tab, under the tab, it shows “Network Protocol” and a text box.

Step5. Click on the text box where it says “Please enter a network url:”, type in there “http://roxasaudiostream.servemp3.com:8000/rxsstream.mp3″ without the quotes.

Step6. Click “Play” on the lower right hand corner.

Streaming will begin after the initial buffering of the data/stream.
