Escapade The Album : 90s, 80s and New Wave - Various Artist

Escapade (Discotheque) was the party place in Roxas City since the 80's and up to the 90's. It is also a title of a song by Janet Jackson. It's where I first heard B-52's "Rock Lobster", Devo's "Whip It", Police's "Do Do Do Da Da Da", Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts" and many more songs.

Roxas Audio Stream created and released "Escapade" - a selection of songs from the 80s, 90s and new wave. Songs that were played on the dance floor of Escapade. This is also my way of giving tribute to that great place. The place where people, fun and laughter mixed together.

Check the chorus line of the song Escapade by Janet Jackson:

Come on baby let's get away
Let's save your troubles for another day
Come go with me we've got it made
Let me take you on an escapade (let's go)

Es-ca-pade we'll have a good time
Es-ca-pade leave your worries behind
Es-ca-pade you can be mine
Es-ca-pade an escapade

That was Escapade!
